In short they take family photos of people and their pets. It started out as just a fun thing the couple (Bora Lee and Daewoong Han, who own the studio) did together. It turns out to be a success since their pictures brought laughters and smiles to everyone who sees the photos. The portraits rely heavily on props and photoshop to brought out the essence of blockbuster 80s movie posters, other 90a/80s pop culture references such as Bob Ross and VHS aesthetic.They have almost accidentally launched a new branch of so called “Glamour Shot” that used to be considered kind of ‘cheesy.’ They reconstruct and expand on the humor of vintage family photos. Then take it to the next level that it becomes both humorous, creative; on the verge of satirical.
